Our Story

THE BEGINNING...

HiveSters was co-founded by two sisters with business and social development backgrounds who grew up in their family travel business. They saw Thailand’s precious culture and communities gradually disappearing and wanted to use their passions and expertise to revive the disappearing culture through sustainable tourism.

Our Mission

Cultural Preservation & Growth

HiveSters is an award-winning travel social enterprise founded with a mission to preserve and help Thai culture flourish by empowering local masters to share Thai culture to the world through sustainable tourism.

HiveSters works like a beehive, a hub of culture heroes that works together to help preserve local culture both from the inside out and from the outside in.

We cherish their local traditions, develop sustainable tourism programs and train the locals in essential knowledge and skills that can help them continue local practices sustainably such as entrepreneurship, storytelling and customer service.

Our Impact

We believe that tourism can be a way to help preserve culture

Every trip that you book creates direct impact to increase the incomes of locals, improves the livelihoods of local masters and ultimately helps to sustain culture so that it can last until the next generaton.

The profits also help fund The Hive Academy, Creative Culture and other cultural preservation projects to prolong cultural knowledge for the enjoyment of future generations.
