Step into the shoes of a Karen hill tribe family and their rural rice farm during a rice-planting season. Learn the process of how Thai rice is grown and farmed amidst the beautiful hills of Chiang Rai.

Background Info:

The Karen people are an ethnic tribal group originally hailing from south-east Myanmar. There is an estimate of 300,000 people of Karen descent living in Thailand. Many Karen people today, however, are blended into society due to modernisation, with several local traditions and cultures slowly disappearing.
