ABOUT APPEAR PROJECT 

Social Innovation for Sustainable Tourism. HiveSters, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Culture, Sports and Tourism Department, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration present the first collaboration of public-private partnership to develop sustainable travel activities in Bangkok and improve livelihoods of local people in the communities.

APPEAR matches 6 leading urban hotels and 6 endangered communities that include 1.) Nang Loeng 2.) Bang Lamphu 3.) Ban Bu 4.) Koh Sarn Chao 5.) Bang Kradi and 6.) Hua Takhe.

Under the “Alliance of Good Neighbours”, urban hotels will collaborate in order to promote sustainable activities in 6 disappearing communities while improving the livelihoods of the locals. Thus, enabling them to ‘appear’ again.
